Harrison Ford, A Legend

LOL I am indeed aware of the fact that we have just about completely abandoned this blog.

So much for the everlasting crush on BEN BARNES!

Since I have nothing much to do at the moment, I will talk about Harrison Ford!

Harrison Ford's birthday was yesterday, on the 13th of July (:

He skyrocketed to fame when he was successfully casted as the cynical Han Solo in the famous Star Wars saga.

His recognition led to George Lucas recommending Harrison Ford to Steven Spielberg, as the main character in his next blockbuster film

You guessed it. Harrison Ford landed the job as the one and only

INDIANA JONES!

The Indiana Jones franchise has won the hearts of many across the globe, with its jam-packed action and death-defying booby traps! Its recent sequel, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull portrayed an already obviously old Harrison Ford with still the same youthful stunts!

As the years went on, Harrison gradually climbed down rung by rung on the Ladder of Hollywood Fame. He has however managed to have found himself starring in excellent Hollywood blockbuster films such as Air Force One, The Fugitive and What Lies Beneath.

Harrison Ford is nonetheless and without a doubt one of the most successful actors to date. They say if you are truly an amazing actor if you win an Oscar. Well I say this, an Oscar has no right to deem someone of that rank. Harrison Ford has never won an Oscar in his life but I think he still is ONE HECK OF AN ACTOR.

Harrison soon may be pushing 70 in three years time but he will always remembered as Han Solo and Indiana Jones!

Natasha Richardson - Tony Award Star

If Natasha Richardson were still alive, she would have turned 46 years old today :)

Sadly, just a few months ago, in March to be exact, Natasha encountered with a terrible head injury when she fell during a ski lesson all the way up in Canada. 

Many of you are probably familiar with her portrayal of the twins' mother in the highly successful Disney's The Parent Trap. 

However, she gained most of her popularity as an English stage actress, winning a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical. She earned this prestigious award for portraying Sally Bowles in the stage production of Caberet. 

Other well-known films include Maid in Manhattan and Wild Child, her final film.

Until her death, Natasha was married to renowned Irish actor Liam Neeson. 

Rest in Peace Natasha.

The Werewolves are HERE!

Move over Robert Pattinson, hello WEREWOLVES!

Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletie, who are all with American Indian heritage will join Taylor Lautner as the pack of werewolves in the highly anticipated Twilight sequel, New Moon. 

According to USA today, these guys have no problem taking their shirts off during the shoot although it is freezing in Vancouver, where New Moon is filmed. Talk about stamina!

We all can't wait for New Moon!

A VERY VERY HAPPY 72nd BIRTHDAY TO JACK NICHOLSON!! :D

Nicholson is a very famous American actor, having been nominated for an Academy Award 12 times and winning 3.

Notable movies that he has starred in include Easy Rider, The Passenger, Batman, About Schmidt and the Departed.

To be honest, although I've heard this dude's name quite often, I have NEVER seen ANY of his movies, let alone know the movies he has starred in.

The Doctor + Ugly Betty

Right, sorry I haven't written for a while,

I've been holidaying in Veneziaaa.

But I see DawnTreader has done a rather MARVELLOUS job in my absence ;)

Anyway,

Today, we have...

YES!! IT'S DAVID TENNANT!

For all you non-Brits who are scratching your heads or your beards or what have you,

David Tennant is an AWESOME Scottish actor (who has an equally awesome NORMAL English accent when he wants to) who is currently the 10th person to play the 900 year-old character of The Doctor, in the amazing BBC show Doctor Who, which has been going on since my grandparents were young.

Okay, yes, the show is generally for older children, but my MUM watches it with me, so HA.

Unfortunately, David is just ending his beloved four-year stint as The Doctor, acting only in a few more season special episodes before an unknown someone else takes over.

Whoever that is, they have a LOT to act up to.

He also acted as Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which might help some people understand who the heck he is.

Anyway,

And here's another surprise for you.

Michael Sheen will be playing Aro, the leader of the Volturi!

Michael Sheen is a Welsh actor who is currently married to actress Kate Beckinsale.

Sheen grew prominent in the film industry when he starred in the critically-acclaimed Oscar nominated movie Frost/Nixon as David Frost. 

Let's hope Michael lives up the fans of Twilight's expectations :)

She is an American actress (that even i don't know about) who played in the movie "The Aviator" and "American dad."

After sharpening her teeth on television and independent films, the edgy young actress earned a part as the 1940's Hollywood Avenue (opposite Leonardo DiCaprio) in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator (2004) making her Moviefone's Rising Star. Soon after, she reunited with Mike Mills in his 2005 Sundance Film Festival hit Thumbsucker (2005), and proved her ability to shine in comedy, and handle her first leading role, starring opposite Tommy Lee Jones in Man of the House (2005/I).

Where is she now....
Playing "Tricia" in the Off-Broadway play, "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead", at the Century Center for the Performing Arts (New York, NY).

Oh, and did I mention...

HE'S A COMPLETE HOTTIE.

Well, for most people, anyways.

Oh, and he's also appeared in the Disney shows The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana, as his extremely gorgeous self ;)

KRISTEN STEWART!
Well, I don't reckon this girl needs any introduction.
Before starring in the awesome Twilight, she was in many other films, such as Panic Room and Zathura, and of course will be taking the leading role in New Moon, which is scheduled for release on November 20 this year. She from Los Angeles, and is apparently dating actor Michael Anagarano [no, we don't know who he is either =p apparently he co-starred with Kristen in the film Speak].
On a slightly more personal note:
Does this girl EVER smile properly?!?!
I'm sure we're not the first people to question her lack of positive emotion.
Or negative emotion, tbh. I mean, in Twilight, how many times does her facial expression actually change?
Not many, I tell you.
Despite this, she happens to be pretty gorgeous.

We could not find a famous enough celebrity who was born on the 6th of April.

So we decided to do 2 celebs who were born today!! :D

The honour goes to JACKIE CHAN and RUSSELL CROWE :)

Jackie Chan, who turned 55 today, is one of the most versatile Asian stars to have gained international fame, mostly due to his success in Western movies such as the Rush Hour series, Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights, Around the World in 80 Days, etc.

However some of his Chinese films are really good as well.

Some excellent ones include the Police Story series, Rob-B-Hood, Drunken Master, etc.

Jackie Chan HAS got to be one of the best stunt men ever! :)

Russell Crowe is a New Zealand-born Australian actor who turned 45 today :)

This super talented actor won an Academy Award for Best Actor for the Gladiator.

Before this he was nominated for two Academys. 

One for his role in A Beautiful Mind and the other in The Insider

Crowe has a strong interest in horses, American football and soccer. 

He is also a HUGE cricket fan.

Well there you go.

Robert Downey Jr turns 44

We celebrate yet another celebrity's birthday today :D

Put your hands together everybody!!

It's the birthday of ROBERT DOWNEY JR :)

He turns 44 today, the double 4.

Before 2008, he was basically a nobody to our generation.

Although he was actually quite popular before this, starting acting at the age of 5.

However, we only came to know about lil old Robert when the immensely successful Iron Man came to screens around the world.

He then went on to star in Tropic Thunder,

For which he earned an Academy Award nomination for portraying an Australian, who portrayed a Black.

With his awesome acting skills, we are dying to catch more films starring him.

Catch the upcoming Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man II and The Avengers.

You know what makes this girl awesome?

She has yet become a trainwrecked, despite her early career in acting as a young girl.

She has yet to become a party animal.

I first noticed him in the film version of the Phantom of the Opera.

And I have to admit, he has a really good "Phantom" voice :P

He then went on to be the star of 300, PS. I Love You and Nim's Island.

To tell you the truth, I think this potential actor has really bad taste in choosing roles.

Nim's Island was HORRIBLE.

He should be more dynamic and pursue his career to a higher degree!

He's really funny in interviews though.

He's kind of a wise guy :)

Besides being a good actor, we have to admit,

'Kay, so, what with all the publicity for Jade Goody and her recent cancer-caused demise, I figured she was a pretty good subject for today's blog (:

Jade died in the early hours of 22nd March, 2009, due to terminal cervical cancer. But before this, she managed to take part in Big Brother UK, launch her products and become a huge major TV personality in general.

There's even a chance that MICHAEL JACKSON will attend her funeral, as he promised her husband he would! R.I.P., Jade x

Yeah it's true people. The reason why Robert Pattinson's hair is greasy is because...

HE DOESN'T WASH HIS HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disgusting or what? He says he doesn't bother.

Just like how he can't be bothered to clean his room.

He told the entertainment show, Extra, "I don't really see the point in washing your hair. If you don't care if your hair's clean or not then why would you wash it? It's like, I don't clean my apartment ’cause I don't care. I have my apartment for sleeping in and I have my hair for just, you know, hanging out on my head. I don't care if it's clean or not."
